Barry has been in the financial services industry since 1991, having had various roles as a pensions and investment adviser to working for both mortgage lenders and protection insurers as a Business Development Manager.
Barry is now the Compliance Officer here at Try ensuring that all advisers work within the rules governed by the regulator and ensuring that the network has the necessary rules, policies, procedures and systems are in place to make sure that the adviser process is not only compliant but user friendly for our network members too.
Barry prides himself on being accessible to the network members and happy to assist and guide wherever possible. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, his garden and supporting he advises the greatest football team in the world, Leeds United!
Martin has over 42 years’ experience in the mortgage and commercial lending markets working for both lenders and intermediaries, and is a founding director of Try Financial Ltd, and the Try Mortgage Network.
Passionate about his business and his team, and the need to provide them with the best business infrastructure possible to support their skills, abilities and ambitions.
Now living in South Derbyshire, he can be found in his spare time playing golf very badly and supporting Nottingham Forest. At least someone, he says, has to!
Ian has been working in the UK mortgage and protection markets since the late 80’s and has been specialising in the mortgage network market since Mortgage Day.
The intermediary market is where Ian has been focussed since the late 90’s with the Bradford & Bingley Group and Mortgage Express initially as a BDM and then managing a regional team of BDM’s a number of well known national intermediary accounts.
From here Ian became the National Sales Manager at Pink Homeloans Network (Now of course part of the Primis Group) for several years. Almost 9 years with the HLPartnership network as Senior Network Recruiter and a few years working with mortgage sourcing & CRM technology in between, Ian is looking to help the team build a broker and customer focussed holistic network using the very best of technology, a passion for great service and honest support.
Loves a bit of cooking, being with the family out walking their Dalmatian and never far away from a little bit of sport especially Rugby (Northampton Saints), cricket, athletics and football. Loves a chat too and helping folks out.
